SAFE & SECURE from Locum Software
Safe & Secure is a security enhancing suite of products for Unisys MCP A Series & ClearPath systems providing access control, system command control and security administration. It also greatly simplifies the maintenance of the Userdatafile and file security attributes. Reporting capabilities are provided by the SECURE module. Each module may be separately licensed depending on an organisation's individual requirements.
Safe & Secure is made up of the following modules:

USERCONTROL - provides Administrators with easy-to-use Userdatafile and COMS Cfile administration and interrogation capabilities.

SENTRY -provides access control through password aging, log-on and stations control. SENTRY may be used to enhance InfoGuard's Password Management system by providing extra password controls and administrator facilities.

GUARDIAN -provides modern user-friendly facilities for the creation, interrogation and modification of File Security attributes.

SECURE - is a stand alone, efficient and easy to use product, providing administrators and auditors with a total security reporting solution.

CHAIN - simplifies administration of the Userdatafiles in multiple processor environments.

CENSOR - delegates and authorises the use of system commands for the MARC users.

InfoGuard Interface - provides a modern user-friendly mechanism for maintaining InfoGuard security options and features.
Additional Components

Admin Desk - provides a Windows-based PC interface for the SAFE & SECURE modules listed above. Screen Images below;

AdminSock - provides a TCP/IP socket interface to enterprise administration software and operates via a batch file interface.

UserSock - provides a TCP/IP socket interface to client-server applications in which end-users bypass the traditional MARC sign-on.
