With newsCLIP - the electronic clipping and montage tool - the desired articles are taken from the scanned source pages and assembled on an A4 target page with minimum use of space. This cut & paste function uses automatic layout analysis and assembly functions, but it is also possible to intervene manually at any time. Information that is relevant to an article - such as the headline, the author or the subject matter - can be organised using the appropriate input masks for archiving at a later date. The integral OCR modules automatically feed the headline and introductory paragraph directly from the image on the source page into the data fields - no more tedious typing!

newsPRESS is an electronic tool that instantly arranges the selected pages into a press review. The articles are assembled automatically - although it is possible to intervene manually - on the appropriate page of the press review, and are arranged to fit the page perfectly. The press review can then be distributed or printed electronically.

With the browser application newsFLASH, the press review is presented in the Intranet, up to date and attractive. newsFLOW - a workflow manager - controls and manages all work routines.

newsREAD - the OCR server system - will search for information within scanned text. The text can then be processed. And newsCORR - an automatic spell-checker - guarantees that text will be free of errors. For archiving, it is important to have an index organised according to subject matter. newsINDEX - a supplementary manual full text index - makes it possible to assign different lists of key words to data fields.
newsWORKS is simple to use: simple user interfaces and experience-orientated functions make it easy even for computer novices to get to grips with the system quickly.
