Affinité Europe become Board M.I.T. partners
June 2006
We are delighted to announce that we have become a partner of Board M.I.T., a Swiss based software company with over 1,500 customers around the world.
Board M.I.T. is a toolkit product for building Business Intelligence (BI) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM) applications. The programming-free development environment is ideally suited for creating BI/CPM applications using pre-built building blocks, and is integrated with a choice of OLAP engines. The toolkit also has simulation capabilities for building and running models to test “what-if” scenarios. A wide variety of data sources can be used from databases to ERP systems. Deployment is flexible – either to desktop or Web, and the multi-tier architecture makes it suitable for distributed applications running in a wide range of companies including multinationals.
We see this as a great addition to our product portfolio – the toolkit
approach fits in well with our way of working with clients to add value to
products. It offers us a huge flexibility in delivering a solution.
Pete Nockels at NIIT in Calcutta
July 2005
Pete Nockels, author of ACCLAIM - the impact analysis tool for Unisys LINC/EAE systems - recently flew out to the offices of NIIT Technologies Ltd (NTL) in Calcutta, India. He was there to deliver training and consultancy on LINC and ACCLAIM to NTL staff.
NTL is preparing to take on the maintenance and support of a LINC/EAE system. They will be using ACCLAIM to extract knowledge from code, thereby minimizing client involvement during knowledge transfer.
The picture shows a 'team photo' taken at the end of the training with the NTL staff. Pete Nockels is 2nd left on the front row. You can see that some of their team are sporting new LINC/EAE baseball caps.
